Prägotherm is used to create a combi-counterforce that allows the do foiling and embossing in 1 go. It is no longer necessary to foil first and to blind emboss in a second run.
This box contains 5 pertinax plates, 5 sheets of prägotherm, 2 sheets of emery paper and a small bottle of release agent.
A pertinax plate is roughened up with sandpaper. This improves the bonding proces of the prägotherm with the pertinax. The die is heated to appr. 130°C. to melt the prägotherm and start the bonding process with the pertinax. Don't forget to treat the die with release agent.
