Hot stamping foils are available in many colors and qualities/grades. All these colors and qualities have their own pricetag. Because of this it is not always easy to pick the ideal foil for a certain job. It requires some experience to determine or know what hot foil is needed.
If you have questions about what foil you should use feel free to contact us. We will require the following information from you:
Here are some examples of grades/types of hot stamping foils which we can offer your directly from stock:
DG grade: General purpose foil suitable for a wide range of applications.
MAMY grade: Designed to work on difficult inks and varnishes with low dynes levels. Also superior results on laminates and filmic substrates.
Grade LA: Produced with a top surface that resists high temperature, making it suitable for application to letterheads which are then to be passed through laser printers or photocopiers where it will come into contact with heat.
Grade PXL: this type of foil can be printed on with ink or covered with a second hot stamping foil.
The foils that we currently have in stock are available in lengths of 61 meters (small core 17 mm), 122 meters (large core 25 mm) or 305 meters (core 25 mm). If you use even larger rolls, feel free to contact us. We might be able to supply you with even larger rolls.
The minimum width to order of a roll is 5 cm wide. If you require a large quantity of foil we can of course cut them in smaller widths f.e. 4 cm wide. Feel free to contact us with all your foiling questions.
