Planatol hotmel glue, type PSA 1122, is a special adhesive for easily separable gluing without fibre tearing after the product has re-solidified, e.g. fixation of postcards or samples etc. Prior tests before starting a production run are indispensable as each paper type reacts individually towards a fugitive glue. In particular, interactions with mineral oils from printing inks should be considered, e.g. upon sheet offset printing).
The bonding strength of Planatol PSA 1122 can reduced to a certain degree by decreasing both the coating temperature and application quantity and vice versa.
Sold in boxes of 12 kg. 1 box = 24 bags of 0,50 kg.
Colour: colourless-opaque.
Working temperature between 150 - 170°C.
Viscosity: 2,400 mPas at 170° C.
